Recommendation
to President
Published: November 5, 2008 Updated: November 5, 2008
Act in an ordinary way. Keep your basic instinct above all: the politics,
ideology, and campaign things. I mean you should have same feeling like
an ordinary human being. Promote the opportunities and respond the challenges.
History is history; do not copy the historical solution to resolve the
current challenges. Open your ears, but act with your guts.
President, president, president!
The job of a president is to
facilitate a country just like a traffic police. You may be surprised
with this analogy but it is true that they basically direct all kinds
of national traffics: hope, fear, greed, encouragement, safety, prosperity,
unity, fight. Just keep in mind that you must not be bogged down to drive
a specific traffic. If you start to be a driver for all traffics, then
you just cripple the system. Even though you are president, you necessarily
may not be the best driver for all kind of traffics.
President, president, president!
If you direct the traffic in
a right direction, the country will be in better place in your tenure.
President, president, president!
Ordinary Tips:
- Do not lead the country
with the superiority complexity. Yes, you are the president, and you
are one of the best people, but not best of all. You and your country
will be benefited more if you listen others as well, and follow your
guts.
- Do not live with hangover
of the promise made during your campaign. If you have made a inappropriate
and incorrect promise during your campaign, you have made a mistake.
You will make another mistake if you implement/cover up that inappropriate
and or incorrect promise; better you accept the mistake, good for you
and your country.
- Do not forget to keep your
country first. That is the number one Responsibility of a president.
You are the president, not a party spoke person. Yes, you are obliged
with your voters who gave you the opportunity to serve the country.
Thank them as much as you can. But do not take this opportunity to punish
your opponents.
- Yes theories are interesting
to read; logics are compelling until another one introduced; and history
is nice to listen/study. These help you sound better and
can be used as a reference in your analysis. Do not fooll yourself being
academician; instead follow an ordinary way to make a decision. Consult
with the expert, but do not forget to listen ordinary people. Commonsense
wins in long-run.
- Work together with different
stockholders to find a solution for a current challenge president,
president, president!
